Maui Sports Vacations is owned and operated by twenty year North Shore Maui residents, Katy and Luke Hargreaves.
Katy, after graduating high school in Sydney, Australia, invested a year working and studying the hotel and concierge industry at the Savoy Hotel in Bournemouth, England. She returned to Sydney with a position at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney with the responsibility of managing over 30 staff members.
Luke, as an active and adventurous 18 year old Aussie, first came to Maui in 1984 to compete in the O'Neil Invitational Windsurfing Event. After falling in love with the Islands, Luke based himself in Maui and from there competed on the Professional Windsurfing World tour for the next 15 years. He has been in the forefront of water sports in Maui ever since, winning the first ever tow-surfing contest at the now world famous giant surf break "Jaws".
Maui Sports Vacations is evolving along side the growing demand for quality, affordable accommodations on the North Shore by active, sports minded clients who prefer to assimilate to the laid back Hawaiian lifestyle far from the crowded tourist areas of Wailea and Ka'anapali.
